With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought I would take a moment to shine a spotlight on the most important woman in my life, the woman without whom LooptyHoops wouldn’t even exist:  My mother Rosalie Brendlinger Smith. 

On March 12^th this year, my mom turned 93 years old!  Pictured below in regal purple, Mom celebrated a very full life of community service and devotion to her family and friends, with twelve of her closest friends—we had to limit it to how many people could fit around the table!

Celebrate your own mother this Mother’s Day and remind her of your gratitude and unending love.  If your mom isn’t still with you, I hope that this season can bring fond memories of your lifetime together.  And if you are a mom yourself, I hope you have a wonderful, unforgettable Mother’s Day.
