Historical author, Elizabeth Jane Howard, is best known for her memorable World War II saga the, Cazalet Chronicles, but she is also now known to have left behind an elaborate jewelry collection. Last year when Howard died, a vast collection of beautiful jewelry was discovered. These ancient pieces of jewelry were collected from all across the world!

Among the most expensive and ancient of her pieces was a pair of Hellenistic gold hoops which are now worth 20,000 in the U.K., which is $30,484.80 in U.S. currency. They are being dated at about 2,400 years old!
